What Is Evil Words About?

The premise of Evil Words without spoilers.

A cop inexplicably murders eleven children, and that same day horror writer Thomas Roy attempts suicide after cutting his fingers. Disillusioned psychiatrist Dr. Paul Lacasse inherits the case, urged by his colleague Jeanne, a fan of Roy. As he probes the author’s past and is hounded by a gossip columnist, Lacasse uncovers disturbing links that draw him deeper into a terrifying chain of events.
