What Is Drunk About?
The premise of Drunk without spoilers.
In January 1965, over drinks at the Russian Tea Room, documentary filmmaker Emile de Antonio cautiously agreed to work with Andy Warhol. To test their divergent politics and art, de Antonio challenged himself to down a full quart of J&B Scotch in 20 minutes while Warhol’s camera recorded. The resulting Factory session runs 66 minutes, ending with de Antonio collapsing, clawing the walls and muttering incoherently.
