In 1897 Arizona, Abby Nixon warns the lawman Billy Reynolds that her accomplices Bud and Cole Gorman are close by. A gunfight erupts, and Reynolds kills the two men, but the aftermath lands him in serious trouble: he is arrested for murder, convicted, and sent to a harsh desert prison known as Devil’s Canyon. The stark landscape mirrors a brutal frontier justice system, where discipline is harsh and loyalties are tested at every turn.
