Spoilers ahead

In the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse, humanity regresses to a rough, Old West–style existence, where dust, guns, and survival define daily life. At the center of the new order is a formidable figure, Apocolypta, who trains zombies into an army she calls the Copperheads to seize what remains of the world. She entrusts the leadership of this terror to two lieutenants—Johnny Vermillion and Stamper—and sends them toward the town of Harper’s Junction to sow chaos and seize control.
