What Is Colophon About?
The premise of Colophon without spoilers.
A boy and his young father share a peculiar experience on a bus – both suffer from nosebleeds. The father attempts to wipe the boy’s nose, but his own bleeding complicates the task, creating a recurring and poignant moment. The film incorporates other elements like a girl, a dog, a boat, and a river, all viewed through a prism of tears shaped in geometric patterns. It’s a fragmented and emotionally resonant exploration of connection and shared experience.
