Malgorzata Szumowska

Małgorzata Szumowska - born February 26, 1973, is an accomplished Polish film director, screenwriter, and producer with a substantial impact on the global cinema. Her unique artistic touch has fetched her a plethora of prestigious awards including Jury Grand Prix (2018), Silver Bear for Best Director (2015) and Teddy Award (2013). Inspirational figures like Andrzej Wajda, Roman Polański or Krzysztof Kieślowski share the same alma mater with her - the renowned National Film School in Łódź.
