Bradley Walsh

Bradley John Walsh, born on 4 June 1960 in Watford, Hertfordshire, England, is an English entertainer whose career has spanned more than three decades across football, acting, presenting and music. After a brief professional spell as a footballer with Brentford and loan periods at Barnet and several non‑league clubs, an ankle injury at age 22 forced him to change direction, leading to a variety of jobs before he entered the world of comedy and television. His first break came in the late 1980s when ITV recruited him to host the game show Midas Touch, and he subsequently fronted the UK version of Wheel of Fortune in 1997, showcasing his natural charisma and quick wit. Walsh’s acting credentials grew steadily, with notable roles such as Danny Baldwin in Coronation Street (2004–2006), DS Ronnie Brooks in Law & Order: UK (2009–2014), and the beloved companion Graham O’Brien in Doctor Who from 2018 to 2022, where his warm humor endeared him to a new generation of viewers.
