Julian Nott presents *Wallace & Gromit: A Grand Day Out* at Chester Cathedral, where an unforgettable family day up close with Luke Jerram’s breathtaking Moon installation and the enchanting backdrop of the historic nave. In partnership with Carrot Productions, the organisers of the Cathedral’s annual sell‑out *The Snowman* shows, we’ve created a magical celebration of our lunar neighbour packed with film screenings, live orchestral accompaniment of Nick Park’s classic score, and hands‑on creativity. Families can join an optional Moon‑themed workshop featuring clay stations where children create their own moon‑inspired plasticine characters. After every performance, audiences will meet the musicians and have the chance to have their photograph taken with Wallace and Gromit amid the stunning, historic surroundings of the Cathedral. In Nick Park’s first film starring the beloved duo, Wallace and Gromit embark on an extraordinary adventure when their search for cheese leads them to the Moon, where a mysterious mechanical inhabitant turns their hospitality into another delightful mishap.
