Concert Film

The Sound of Britain – an intimate concert film starring piano virtuoso Clelia Iruzun, cellist Nick Roberts, and clarinetist Shelley Levy. The trio invites viewers on a sonic journey that spans from the brilliant chamber works of Beethoven and Glinka to the soaring melodies of film and musical theatre, all rendered in fresh, chamber‑inspired arrangements. Part of the 2026 Future Masters: Solo & Chamber Music Series, the program unfolds in two distinct halves. The first half showcases the elegance of Beethoven’s Trio in B‑flat Major, Op. 11, and Glinka’s Pathétique Trio, while the second half transports listeners to the world of cinema and stage with selections such as Ennio Morricone’s “Gabriel’s Oboe” from The Mission, Richard Rodgers’ “Edelweiss” from The Sound of Music, Harold Arlen’s “Over the Rainbow” from The Wizard of Oz, John Lunn’s “Downton Abbey Suite,” Leonard Bernstein’s “I Feel Pretty” and “Maria” from West Side Story, and Astor Piazzolla’s swirling tangos “Oblivion,” “Adiós Nonino” and “Libertango.” The program remains flexible and may change.
