The Moonwalkers: Live in Concert (World Premiere) invites you to witness the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, led by conductor Anthony Gabriele and soaring soprano Grace Davidson, journey to the far reaches of the cosmos in spectacular high‑definition. The evening opens with Grammy®‑winning composer Eric Whitacre’s luminous symphonic work *Deep Field*, inspired by the Hubble Space Telescope’s most iconic image. As Whitacre’s music swirls, the stage lights up the screen at the Royal Albert Hall with the breathtaking *Deep Field: The Impossible Magnitude of Our Universe*—a blend of awe‑inspiring Hubble footage and custom animations that set the astronomical scene. After the intermission, the RPO presents the first live performance of Anne Nikitin’s original score for Lightroom’s celebrated film *The Moonwalkers*. Narrated and co‑written by Tom Hanks, the film takes you behind the scenes of NASA’s Artemis program, featuring on‑camera conversations between Hanks and Artemis astronauts, supplemented by NASA archival footage and Andy Saunders’ restored Apollo images. Hanks’ pre‑recorded narration, blended with Nikitin’s soaring themes, transports audiences to the lunar surface in a version of the film never before shown. This world premiere is the first opportunity for fans to experience *The Moonwalkers* outside its original Lightroom setting, presented in a specially curated edition by Lightroom and directed by 59, A Journey Studio, in association with ESK Live. Secure your seats to join this unforgettable fusion of live orchestral brilliance, cinematic storytelling, and space‑age wonder—*Details & tickets* await.
