Concert Film

Summertime takes you on a luminous journey through some of the most beloved scores of 20th‑century music, beautifully brought to life by the Tonkünstler Orchestra Lower Austria under the dynamic baton of Fabien Gabel, with the elegant Yaron Herman at the keys. The program opens with Bernard Herrmann’s hauntingly cinematic *Suite from the Film Vertigo*, before flowing into George Gershwin’s rhythmic bravado in *Got Rhythm* from *Girl Crazy* and the intimate charm of *Someone to Watch Over* from *Oh, Kay!*. The night brightens with Cole Porter’s glittering *Night and Day*, followed by Vincent Youmans’ breezy *Tea for Two* and Gershwin’s timeless lullaby *Summertime*. The set then shifts to Cole Porter’s playful *What Is This Thing Called Love?*, hit with the energetic *Symphonic Nocturne* by Kurt Weill, and concludes with Gershwin’s exuberant *An American in Paris*. Join us for an unforgettable cinematic concert experience that blends orchestral brilliance with stylish piano accompaniment. Details & tickets.
