For the first time ever, acclaimed composer Masakatsu Takagi, the creative force behind iconic scores for films like *Mirai*, *My Little Sister*, *Wolf Children*, *Ame and Yuki*, and *The Boy and the Beast*, takes the stage at the Charlie Chaplin Cultural Center. Joined by a talented ensemble of seven musicians and singers, Takagi will unveil new compositions alongside reimagined versions of his most cherished melodies. These familiar themes are transformed into captivating songs, performed in Japanese, English, and French, and beautifully accompanied by stunning projections of scenes from the films. Witness the composer's powerful yet delicate touch as he orchestrates a truly unique sensory journey, where music and cinema converge in a weightless and poetic celebration—the perfect finale to the 2024-25 season at Chaplin.
