Experience the Sopot Film Festival’s Film Music Festival, a captivating chamber concert that returns to its intimate roots from last year’s edition. On July 5, the Wybrzeże Theatre’s Chamber Stage will host a symphonic showcase of those stirring scores that have accompanied audiences throughout the festival’s past editions, reimagined in the warm glow of a candlelight‑style tribute. The program features a spellbinding trio: Marika Staszewska on violin (Polish Philharmonic Sinfonia Baltica), Weronika Duchniewicz on cello (Polish Baltic Philharmonic), and Arkadiusz Cierniak on piano as part of the Aaron Piano Trio. Selected pieces will be enlivened by the rhythmic pulse of drums from Klaudia Rucińska (Polish Philharmonic Sinfonia Baltica). Guest performers will add further color—Krystyna Gdzik on vocals and piano and William Malcolm on synthesizers and Moog, both delivering lyrical original arrangements that enrich the concert’s cinematic atmosphere.
