**Our Bands and Orchestras** Born in 2008 through a partnership with the Brass Academy Alicante, this concert film showcases the Academy’s premier Brass Ensemble—an exceptional group of the finest students, many of whom have proudly taken seats in world‑renowned orchestras such as the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie, the Helsinki Philharmonic, the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester, JONDE, and the Finnish National Opera. Together with faculty members from the Academy, the ensemble delivers a shared, practical, and scenic musical experience on stages across Spain and even at the prestigious Schagerl Festival in Austria under the baton of conductor Rudi Korp. The orchestra, typically consisting of 6 trumpets, 5 horns, 4 trombones, euphonium, and 2 tubas (with the line‑up expanding to match the repertoire), features virtuoso soloists including Gábor Tarkövi, Sarah Willis, Nury Guarnaschelli, Lito Fontana, and Adrián Villar. The program is an exhilarating journey through styles and periods, featuring: - **Richard Strauss** – *Festival Music of the City of Vienna* - **Johann Sebastian Bach** – *Air* - **Josef Haydn (Rosetti)** – Concerto for two horns in E♭ major (soloists Nury Guarnaschelli + N.N.I.) featuring Movements I Allegro, II Andante, III Allegro con spirito - **Josef Haydn** – Concerto for trumpet and orchestra in E♭ major (soloist Adrián Villar) – Mov. Allegro - **Héctor Berlioz** – *He marches to torture* (Interval) - **Giuseppe Verdi** – *Aida / Glory to Egypt* - **Johann Strauss** – *Valse vienés* – *"Wein, Weib und Gesang"* - **John Williams** – *Jurassic Park* - **Traditional** – “Cool Horns on Fire!” (arr. Antonio Vera) – *ABBA!* Capturing the dynamic energy of the ensemble and the depth of each soloist’s interpretation, this film invites fans into a vibrant soundscape that blends classical grandeur with unexpected pop reinterpretations. Join us for a concert experience that celebrates talent, tradition, and the adventurous spirit of brass mastery. [Details & Tickets]
