Concert Film

Opera and film hits brings together world‑class vocalists and the Globalis Orchestra to celebrate the striking parallels between the most iconic opera arias and beloved songs from cult films. In the first portion, renowned soloists from the Bolshoi Theatre, La Scala, Vienna Opera, London Royal Opera, and other leading houses perform unforgettable arias from Puccini, Rossini, Bizet, Verdi, Mozart, and operettas by Strauss, Le har, and Offenbach. The evening then transitions to soaring film soundtracks—think “Pretty Woman,” “The Fifth Element,” and “The Bodyguard”—alongside chart‑topping hits by Whitney Houston, AC/DC, Roxette, Elton John, Roy Orbison, Muslim Magomayev, Oleg Anofriev, and others. The Globalis Symphony Orchestra, founded in 2000 by conductor Konstantin Krimts, has partnered with Sarah Brightman, Ennio Morricone, the Aria group, Garik Sukachev, Igor Krutoy, and Nikolai Noskov, among many. Headlining the program is Grammy‑nominee diva Elena Zaremba, a celebrated soloist of the Bolshoi, La Scala, London Royal Opera, Metropolitan Opera, Vienna Opera, and Arena di Verona, who has shared the stage with Placido Domingo, José Carreras, and Luciano Pavarotti.
