New Adventures - KS1 Somerset Concert

Calling all young adventurers! Join us for *New Adventures – KS1 Somerset Concert*, a vibrant and exciting orchestral experience designed especially for Key Stage 1 students. Embark on a musical journey with fourteen talented musicians from the renowned Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra as they present the brand-new program, ‘New Adventures.’ This captivating 1-hour concert will introduce young audiences to the incredible instruments of the orchestra, showcasing how composers and musicians have used music to explore and discover the wonders of our world. From orchestral classics to beloved film and musical scores, and even a touch of popular jazz, ‘New Adventures’ promises a diverse and engaging performance. A highlight of the concert is a participatory song, co-created with students from Somerset schools – get ready to sing along! For educators, a special CPD session will take place on Thursday, January 23rd, from 4:30-6:00 PM at Westlands, Yeovil. School staff are warmly invited to attend and learn the participatory song and gain valuable tips to bring the magic of orchestral music into the classroom.
