Housework! Kaji! kajii! “Daily necessities concert” takes fans on an exhilarating sonic journey that turns everyday tasks into timeless music moments. The program opens with Leon Jessel’s spirited “March of the Toy Soldiers” (Op. 123), leading into Necke’s compelling “Kusikos Post.” Hiroki Takahashi electrifies the stage with the sizzling “Frying Pan Concerto,” followed by Josef Strauss’s jubilant “Polka of the Scratchmaker” (Op. 269). Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart provides a classic touch with the rousing “Turkish March” from Piano Sonata No. 11, 3rd movement (K.331), before Malcolm Arnold’s “Great Overture” (Op. 57) swells into a triumphant crescendo.
