Led by the Nella Musica chamber orchestra, a group of graduates from the Moscow State Conservatory and Russia’s Gnessin Academy, the evening weaves iconic soundtracks with stunning video art. You’ll feel as if you’re sitting in the very scenes of classics like **The Godfather**, **Malena**, **The Taming of the Shrew**, **Madly in Love**, and **Roman Holiday**, while hearing beloved melodies from Nino Rota, Toto Cutugno, Adriano Celentano, and Ennio Morricone. The program also features unforgettable arias from Verdi and Puccini, presented with powerful vocals, and showcases soundtracks from the works of Hayao Miyazaki, Tim Burton, George Lucas, Luc Besson, Christopher Nolan, Alfonso Cuarón, and more. Created under the direction of Ekaterina Kochetkova in May 2021, this concert offers a nearly “live” encounter with the heroes of Italian cinema and the mesmerizing sound of a classical ensemble.
