Tasneem Roc

Tasneem Roc is an acclaimed Australian television and film actress, recognized for her diverse roles and vast range of on-screen personalities. Born on 11th of December in 1978 in Sydney, Australia, Tasneem began her acting journey at an early age, deeply inspiring her interest in the performing arts. She obtained her formal education from Turramurra High School and, showed incredible believability in her performances during acting studies at the Australian Theatre for Young People. Further pursuing her academic growth, she graduated from the University of Sydney. Tasneem initiated her professional career with the Australian television series Heartbreak High in its sixth season, where she played the part of an activist student, Thania Saya. Her energetically-charged performances granted her significant attention and appreciation in the entertainment industry, leading her to expanding her acting repertoire to include guest roles in series such as ABC's Head Start and UK Sky TV's Dream Team. Developed her acting mastery further by appearing in legal dramedy Crownies as a victim of crime. Tasneem has also appeared in award-winning SBS mini-series East West 101 where she portrayed the role of Amina Malik, developing her character depth by learning Arabic and Islamic prayers. Additionally, Tasneem has dedicated her talent to film by featuring in Kath & Kimderella and The Little Death. She most recently logged performances in series like Mako: Island of Secrets and Mother of the Bride.
