Sunita Dhir

Sunita Dhir is a Canadian politician and educator whose career has been marked by a deep commitment to immigrant integration, affordable housing, and health care reform. Born on May 15, 1971 in India, she moved to Canada in 1992 and settled in the South Vancouver and Markoop communities, where she has lived for over three decades. Her academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Education and a Master of Science from Panjab University, as well as a TESOL certificate from Vancouver Community College, which equipped her to serve as a language instructor for S.U.C.C.E.S.S., a nonprofit that aids newcomers in British Columbia.
