Stephen Kramer Glickman

Stephen Kramer Glickman (born March 17, 1979) is a Canadian actor and comedian best known for his charismatic portrayal of Gustavo Rocque on Nickelodeon's Big Time Rush (2009‑2013). He was born into a Jewish family of Russian descent in London, Ontario, Canada, and later moved with his family to Carlsbad, California where he began participating in community theatre. Experiencing antisemitic bullying during his youth, Glickman left school in the eighth grade after a violent incident, yet his passion for performance persisted. He eventually pursued formal training, first attending the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and later graduating from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, honing his skills in both acting and musical comedy. Glickman's early stage work included workshops for the Broadway production of Shrek the Musical, where he originated the role of Shrek in developmental readings before the part was recast. Transitioning to screen, his breakout role came with the Nickelodeon series, where his exaggerated, flamboyant director character earned him a dedicated fan base and critical recognition for his comic timing. Beyond Big Time Rush, Glickman has lent his voice to the animated web series Trailer Trash, portraying the character Billy Bob, and has appeared in various television and film projects since his career debut in 2003. He also co‑hosts The Night Time Show podcast, showcasing his improvisational humor and interview skills. In 2025, he announced a reunion tour with his Big Time Rush castmates titled the “In Real Life Worldwide Tour,” confirming his continued relevance in the entertainment industry.
