Secundino Benjamín Juan de la Rosa Márquez Ailagas de Carvajal, known professionally as Secun de la Rosa, was born on 23 December 1969 in Barcelona, Spain. He grew up in a culturally rich environment and pursued formal training at the renowned Cristina Rota atelier, where he honed his craft in acting and theatrical writing. Early in his career, de la Rosa gravitated toward the Spanish comedy scene, quickly gaining recognition for his distinctive timing and ability to blend satire with heartfelt performance. Although his popularity surged through television series such as Aída, 7 vidas and Cuéntame cómo pasó, he never abandoned the stage, continuously authoring and directing plays that earned critical acclaim and several nominations from theater awards committees.
