Sanjeeda Sheikh

Sanjeeda Sheikh, born on December 20, 1984, is a prominent figure in the Indian film and television industry. Notably recognized for her roles in Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Kaa, Kayamath, Ek Hasina Thi, and Love Ka Hai Intezaar, Sheikh has left an indelible mark on Indian entertainment. Born in Kuwait to an Ahmedabad-based Muslim family, Sheikh made her acting debut in 2005 in the TV series Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Kaa. After this, she appeared in the 2007 Star Plus series Kayamath and danced her way to victory in the dancing competition show Nach Baliye 3, together with her then-husband Aamir Ali. Her career continued to blossom with roles in serials like Kya Dill Main Hai and Dhani in Ishq Ka Rang Safed. In 2017 she appeared in a supernatural web series, Gehraiyaan, reuniting her with her Ek Hasina Thi co-star Vatsal Sheth. She further spread her wings into the world of Hindi cinema with her film debut in Taish in 2020, and later starred in the Netflix horror film Kaali Khuhi. 2024 was a breakthrough year as it saw her release Fighter and appear in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's series Heeramandi. Sheikh has managed to create an impact with her nuanced performances as she effortlessly delves into complex characters, making her a force to be reckoned with in the world of performing arts.
