Saiyami Kher

Saiyami Kher (born 29 June 1992 in Nashik, Maharashtra) is an Indian actress who has quickly become a prominent figure in both Hindi and Telugu cinema. She hails from a distinguished film lineage; her grandmother was the celebrated actress Usha Kiran and her aunt is the veteran Tanvi Azmi, while her father Advait Kher worked as a model and her mother Uttara won the Femina Miss India title in 1982. After completing her graduation at St. Xavier's College, Mumbai, Saiyami made her screen debut in the Telugu film Rey (2015), showcasing a natural ease with the medium that would define her subsequent career. The following year she entered Bollywood with Mirzya (2016), a lyrical adaptation of the Punjabi folklore of Mirza‑Sahiban, where her performance alongside Harshvardhan Kapoor earned her the Stardust Award for Superstar of Tomorrow – Female. Since then she has built a versatile portfolio, appearing in the Marathi‑inspired drama Mauli (2018), the intense legal thriller Choked (2020) directed by Anurag Kashyap, and the action‑packed Wild Dog (2021) in which she portrayed an NIA agent opposite Nagarjuna. In addition to film, she has made a mark on the small screen, starring in the acclaimed streaming series Special OPS (2020) and the romantic drama Faadu (2022), both of which highlighted her ability to convey subtle emotional nuance.
