Sabrina Carpenter

Sabrina Annlynn Carpenter (born May 11, 1999) is a versatile American singer and actress who gained recognition through her role on the Disney Channel series Girl Meets World between 2014 and 2017. She signed her first record deal with Disney's Hollywood Records, releasing her debut single 'Can't Blame a Girl for Trying' in 2014. She's since released four successful studio albums. Three of her well-known singles, 'Alien', 'Almost Love', and 'Sue Me', topped the US Dance Club Songs chart. In addition to her notable music career, Carpenter has excelled in acting with roles in films like Adventures in Babysitting, The Hate U Give. She's also starred in Netflix productions like Tall Girl and also played a lead role on Broadway's Mean Girls.

She was born in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, to parents David and Elizabeth Carpenter. At a young age and with support from her family, she started showcasing her talent on YouTube with covers of songs by Christina Aguilera and Adele. She began her acting career in 2011 with a guest role on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Her significant breakthrough, however, came with the Disney Channel series Girl Meets World. Carpenter quickly built a robust discography and continued her acting career simultaneously. She switched to Island Records in 2021 and released her viral TikTok single 'Nonsense'. Recently, her musical work with her sixth album Short n' Sweet has expanded her international success, debuting at the top of the US Billboard 200 chart with famous singles 'Espresso' and 'Please Please Please'.
