Ruby Rose

Ruby Rose Langenheim, known professionally as Ruby Rose, is an Australian model, actress, and television presenter born on 20 March 1986. Rose launched her career as a presenter on MTV Australia (2007–2011), disciplined and ventured into several high-profile modelling gigs, including Maybelline New York in Australia. She co-hosted various television shows, such as Australia's Next Top Model (2009) and The Project on Network Ten (2009–2011). Rose stepped into acting in 2008 and gained prominence for her role in the drama film Around the Block (2013) and her appearance in the third season of Netflix's Orange Is the New Black (2015–2016). Her notable roles in action films include Resident Evil: The Final Chapter (2016), XXX: Return of Xander Cage (2017), John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017), and The Meg (2018). She played the lead role of Kate Kane / Batwoman in the first season of the CW television series Batwoman (2019–2020).

Outside of acting, see her as a proactive collaborator in the fashion sector, teaming up with the Australian fashion label Milk and Honey and Phoebe Dahl for their clothing range Faircloth Lane. She appeared in Vogue Australia, InStyle Magazine, Marie Claire Magazine, and others. She took an active role in modelling and became the face of leading brands like Maybelline New York in Australia and Urban Decay Cosmetics. Besides her successful careers, Rose is an avid supporter of various charities. She's known for her fight against animal cruelty, bullying, and worked as an ambassador for Headspace, focusing on youth mental health. Rose, a self-announced lesbian and gender-fluid individual, contributes significantly to the LGBTQIA+ community. She has had challenging mental health experiences which she uses as a platform for advocacy.
