Ronjini Chakraborty

Ronjini Chakraborty (born 24 February 1992 in Kolkata, India) is an Indian actress and model who has built a versatile career across Hindi and Bengali cinema, television, and advertising. Raised in a middle‑class Bengali family, she spent seven years training in Indian classical music, an early influence that cultivated her artistic sensibilities, though she ultimately chose acting over a singing career. While pursuing her college studies, Ronjini joined the theatre group “Theatrecian,” where she performed in a range of challenging productions, including The Lesson by Eugene Ionesco, No Exit by Jean‑Paul Sartre, The Home Coming by Harold Pinter, The Goat by Edward Albee, and The Comedy Kitchen directed by Dhruv Mukherjee. Seeking formal training, she enrolled at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune, where she completed an intensive acting course before returning to Kolkata to launch her professional journey.
