Roberta Tovey

Roberta Tovey is an accomplished English actress renowned for her contributions to British cinema and television during the 1960s and beyond. Born on 9 August 1953 in London, England, she embarked on her acting career at a remarkably young age, establishing herself as a prominent child performer in the British entertainment industry. Her most iconic and enduring legacy stems from her portrayal of Susan, the granddaughter of the eccentric time traveler Dr. Who, in the highly regarded science fiction films Dr. Who and the Daleks (1965) and Daleks' Invasion Earth 2150 A.D. (1966). These cinematic adaptations of the beloved BBC television series starred the legendary Peter Cushing as Dr. Who, with Tovey's performance as the resourceful and brave young Susan earning her significant recognition among science fiction enthusiasts and establishing her place in Doctor Who history.
