Rob Archer

Rob Archer (born August 9, 1975) is a Canadian actor and stuntman whose career has spanned more than two decades, beginning in 2001 and continuing to the present day. He first entered the entertainment world after an unconventional path that saw him pursue bodybuilding at age twenty, a decision that diverged from his peers who were heading to college. A chance encounter with a talent agent—who happened to be the wife of his trainer—prompted Archer to audition, an experience he later described as a 'train‑wreck' that left him in tears but also ignited his determination. After a series of modest commercial bit parts, his breakthrough arrived with a role in Exit Wounds, which convinced him to take acting seriously. This momentum carried him into supporting roles in a variety of high‑profile films such as Bulletproof Monk, Red, Kick‑Ass 2, RoboCop and Pixels, as well as television series including Lost Girl, Mutant X, Alphas, XIII: The Series, Defiance, Beauty & the Beast and Warehouse 13. Archer’s most recognizable on‑screen persona emerged when he portrayed the mythic creature Krampus in the anthology horror film A Christmas Horror Story.
