Her mother, Hana, worked as a literature teacher, while her father, Ze'ev, held an administrative position at the Israel Land Administration, providing her with a nurturing environment that valued both the arts and civic responsibility. After completing mandatory service in the Israel Defense Forces, Koler served as an instructor for the Liaison Officers course, an experience that honed her discipline and communication skills.
