Madison Michelle Pettis (born July 22, 1998) is an American actress who first captured public attention as a child performer on the beloved PBS series Barney & Friends. Raised in Arlington, Texas, she comes from a diverse background—her father is African‑American and her mother carries Italian, Irish and French ancestry—providing her with a rich cultural tapestry that she later channeled into her varied roles. After being discovered through a local parenting‑magazine cover contest, Pettis quickly transitioned to television, landing the role of Bridget on Barney & Friends in 2005‑2006, where she showcased not only acting but also singing and dancing talents. Her breakout film moment arrived in 2007 when she was cast as Peyton Kelly, the long‑lost daughter of Dwayne Johnson’s character in the Disney comedy The Game Plan, cementing her status as a rising young star.
