Luke Pasqualino

Luke Pasqualino, born Luca Giuseppe Pasqualino on 19 February 1990 in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, is a British actor of Italian descent whose career has spanned over a decade across television, film, and stage. Raised by Sicilian and Neapolitan parents, his father owned a chain of salons, and Pasqualino discovered his passion for performance at Walton Community School where he joined the drama club and participated in local productions. At eighteen he secured his breakout role as Freddie McClair in the third season of the cult E4 series Skins, portraying a laid‑back, weed‑smoking college student and quickly becoming a fan favourite. His film debut followed the next year with the low‑budget feature Stingers Rule!, and he subsequently appeared in BBC medical drama Casualty, sitcom Miranda, and the Warner Bros. horror picture The Apparition (2012). In 2011 he took on a recurring part as Paolo in the historical drama The Borgias, and the following year starred as the younger William “Husker” Adama in the Syfy pilot Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome. Luke expanded his résumé with roles in the Bong Joon‑ho thriller Snowpiercer (2013), the French series Jo, and the indie LGBTQ+ film Retake, before landing the iconic lead of d'Artagnan in the BBC adaptation The Musketeers (2014‑2016). He later joined the army drama Our Girl (2016‑2020) as Elvis Harte, and headlined the Crackle series Snatch (2017‑2018) as Albert Hill. His stage debut came in 2019 with Berberian Sound Studio, and recent work includes the Netflix fantasy series Shadow and Bone (2021), the murder‑mystery Medusa Deluxe (2022), and a recurring role in Disney+’s Rivals (2024). Additionally, he voiced Wulf in the animated feature The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim (2024) and has been cast in the thriller drama Apart from Her. * * *
