Kristoffer Polaha

Kristoffer Polaha is an American actor and author, renowned for his TV roles such as Jason Matthews in North Shore, Nathaniel "Baze" Bazile in Life Unexpected, and Henry Butler in Ringer. He is also known for his performances in the films Devil's Knot (2013), Wonder Woman 1984 (2020), and Jurassic World Dominion (2022). Since 2016, Polaha has appeared in numerous Hallmark movies and a seven-part series of Hallmark Movies & Mysteries films titled Mystery 101. Regarding his career choice, he once mentioned his enjoyment in working for Hallmark, as their family-friendly movies allow him to share his work with his young son and elderly Nana.

Polaha was born in Reno, Nevada to Esther and Jerome Polaha, a former Washoe District Court Judge. Polaha's family has Czech roots and he is the youngest of four brothers. He moved to Los Angeles in 2001 after graduating from New York University Tisch School Of the Arts with a Bachelor's degree in Arts. As for his acting career, he started with theatre, performing in productions like Ragtime Revue at Lincoln Center and The Long Days Journey Into Night at the Roundabout Theater before transitioning to television and film. Polaha's versatility and ability to portray diverse characters have kept him a constantly in-demand actor. Offscreen, Polaha co-authored a series of romance novels with Anna Gomez which reflects another facet of his creative talent. Polaha is also a practicing Christian, and expressed that he would like to be remembered in the same vein as actors like Jimmy Stewart and Tom Hanks.
