Her television career expanded with notable performances in the Icelandic series Fangar (2017) and as Gunna in the popular series Stella Blómkvist the same year. Kristín Þóra’s film work reached international acclaim when she head‑lined the Sundance‑winning film And Breathe Normally (2018) as Lára, and portrayed Magnea in Let Me Fall (2018), which premiered at TIFF. In 2019 she was selected for the prestigious European Film Promotion’s “Shooting Stars” program, underscoring her rising profile across Europe.
