Kim delos Santos

Kim delos Santos (born Kim Nicole Gehring de los Santos on July 27, 1981) is a former Filipino‑American actress, model and television personality who later reinvented herself as a licensed nurse in Texas. Born in New Jersey to Hormaidas delos Santos, a stationary engineer who later migrated to the United States, and Dolores, an American mother, Kim grew up in a bicultural household that exposed her to both Filipino traditions and American life. Her early foray into entertainment began at the age of eight when she was cast as the daughter of Janice de Belen and Gabby Concepcion in the 1989 film Rosenda, a performance that earned her the Film Academy of the Philippines award for Best Child Performance. The accolade propelled her into a prolific teen‑star career throughout the 1990s, most notably as Nina in the long‑running GMA Network drama Anna Karenina (1996‑2002) and as a member of the popular youth series T.G.I.S., which later spawned the feature film T.G.I.S.: The Movie (1997). In addition to these flagship roles, Kim appeared in several mid‑1990s movies such as Where ’D’ Girls ’R’, Laging Naroon Ka and the 2000 drama Azucena, cementing her status as one of the era’s recognizable faces.
