Joséphine de La Baume

Joséphine de La Baume (born 8 October 1984 in Paris, France) is a multifaceted French talent whose career spans acting, singing, directing, and modeling. Emerging onto the cinematic scene in 2010 with Romain Gavras’s Our Day Will Come and Bertrand Tavernier’s The Princess of Montpensier, she quickly garnered critical attention and earned a place in the Cannes main competition the following year. Her fluency in both French and English opened doors to international productions, leading to roles in Lone Scherfig’s One Day, Oliver Parker’s Johnny English Reborn, and Ron Howard’s high‑octane biopic Rush. From 2012 onward, she expanded her résumé across the Atlantic, collaborating with Xan Cassavetes on Kiss of the Damned and Alex Ross Perry on Listen Up Philip, while also appearing in television series such as A Very Secret Service.
