Her drama training spanned the North Carolina School of the Arts and the Central School of Speech and Drama in London. Her career took a significant turn when she debuted in the West End as Elmire in Tartuffe (1991). She has also worked with HBO's Game of Thrones but stepped back after the birth of her daughter. In the recent years, Ehle has continued to contribute significantly to the film and TV industry, with performances in series like The Looming Tower and The Good Fight and movies like She Said, earning critical acclaim.
