Gingle Wang

Gingle Wang (王淨, born 7 February 1998) is a Taiwanese actress and writer who emerged from a modest single‑mother household in Beitou District, Taipei. Growing up with little memory of her father, she found solace in literature, publishing her first novel Bale Love at the tender age of fifteen under the pen name Jun Jun. Her early years included a stint at Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy in the United States, where writing helped her navigate personal hardships and support her mother’s recovery after divorce. Upon returning to Taiwan, Wang pursued political science at Temple University’s Japan Campus, a path that complemented her burgeoning artistic sensibilities. By 2017 she transitioned to the screen, debuting in the romance film All Because of Love after gaining viral attention from a quirky YouTube taxi‑singing clip. Her subsequent roles in The Outsiders and the TV series On Children earned critical nods, culminating in a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the 54th Golden Bell Awards.
