Gaspard Ulliel

Gaspard Ulliel was a celebrated French actor known for portraying young Hannibal Lecter in Hannibal Rising (2007), fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent in the biopic Saint Laurent (2014), and as the face of Chanel men's fragrance Bleu de Chanel. His other notable works include Brotherhood of the Wolf (2001), A Very Long Engagement (2004), To the Ends of the World (2018), and Twice Upon a Time (2019). He was nominated for the César Award for Most Promising Actor three consecutive years, winning in 2005. He was sadly involved in a fatal skiing accident at La Rosière resort in Savoie, France, in 2022. Ulliel was an only child, born to a stylist and runway show producer, and a fashion designer. He had a distinct scar on his left cheek, which he considered to augment his emotional acting abilities. He was interested in music and architecture before embarking on a successful acting career.
