Fernando Guallar

Fernando Guallar (born 7 March 1989 in Córdoba, Spain) is a versatile Spanish actor who has built a diverse career across television, film, and short‑form projects. After completing a degree in Architecture at the Higher Technical School of Architecture of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, he chose not to practice the profession and instead devoted himself to intensive training in acting, singing and voice work in both Madrid and New York. This multidisciplinary background allowed him to enter the Spanish television landscape with episodic appearances in popular series such as Aída, Sin identidad and La que se avecina, where he honed his craft and gained industry recognition. In 2017 his profile rose significantly when he was cast in the dramatic series Perdóname, Señor, followed by a recurring role in the daily romance Amar es para siempre. The breakthrough moment arrived in 2016 when he joined the main cast of Movistar+'s period drama Velvet Colección, portraying the charismatic Sergio Godó across two seasons and earning a dedicated fan base. Guallar’s transition to the big screen began with the 2019 feature In Family I Trust alongside Clara Lago and Álex García, and he further demonstrated his comedic timing in the 2020 romantic comedy My Heart Goes Boom! starring Ingrid García Jonsson, a performance that secured him a nomination for Best Male Performance at the ASECAN Andalusian Film Awards. That same year he appeared in the critically acclaimed HBO España series Patria. His international visibility expanded with the Netflix production Luis Miguel: The Series (season two, 2021), where he embodied Mauricio Ambrosi, a role he continued into the final season. In addition to his screen work, Guallar earned the Best International Actor award at the Flagler Film Festival for his short‑film performance in MINECRAFT, and he has been nominated at the Piélagos en Corto Festival. Currently he is slated to star in the romantic comedy El juego de las llaves, directed by Vicente Villanueva, further cementing his reputation as a dynamic and emerging talent in contemporary Spanish cinema.
