Eniola Badmus

Eniola Badmus (born 7 September 1982 in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, Nigeria) is a versatile Nigerian film actress, script writer, radio personality, and prominent social media influencer who has also served as the Special Assistant to the Speaker of the Nigerian House of Representatives on Social Events and Public Hearings. Her journey from a modest upbringing in Ijebu Ode to a celebrated figure in Nollywood reflects a blend of academic rigor, artistic passion, and strategic networking. Badmus completed her primary and secondary education in her hometown before enrolling at the University of Ibadan, where she earned a degree in Theatre Arts, laying a solid foundation for her performance skills. She later pursued a Master of Science in Economics at Lagos State University, an unusual combination that highlights her intellectual versatility and equips her for roles beyond acting, including her current governmental appointment. Badmus’ professional acting career officially began in 2000, but it was her breakout performances in the 2008 Yoruba comedies Jenifa and Omo Ghetto that catapulted her into national prominence.
