Donna Michelle

Donna Michelle, born Donna Michelle Fick on December 8, 1945, in Los Angeles, California, was an American model, actress, and photographer who became one of the most celebrated figures associated with Playboy magazine during the 1960s. She was named Playboy's Playmate of the Month in December 1963 and subsequently became the 1964 Playmate of the Year at just 18 years old, making her the youngest person ever to receive that prestigious honor. Her centerfold was photographed by Pompeo Posar and Edmund Leja, capturing the attention of audiences during a golden era of glamour photography. Before her modeling career took off, she married David M. Ronne on February 9, 1963, in Los Angeles, when she was only 17 years old; the couple later divorced in April 1967. Her mother's maiden name was Baron, a fact that has been preserved in historical records of her family background. Beyond her celebrated tenure with Playboy, Michelle built a modest but memorable acting career in film and television during the mid-1960s. She appeared in popular productions such as Beach Blanket Bingo (1965), where she played a character named Animal, and Mickey One (1965). She also took on roles in Agent for H.A.R.M. (1966), Goodbye Charlie (1964), and the French film Le Bal des voyous (1968). Her television work included guest appearances on I Spy and The Big Valley, as well as multiple episodes of The Man from U.N.C.L.E., including the feature-length release One Spy Too Many (1966) and The Spy with My Face. Michelle passed away on April 9, 2004, in Ukiah, California, at the age of 58, due to a heart attack, leaving behind a legacy as a cultural icon of 1960s glamour.
