John Richard Whitfield, better known by his stage name D.C. Young Fly, is an Atlanta‑born American comedian, host, singer, and actor whose career launched in 2011 and has since spanned stand‑up, television, film, and digital media. Raised on Atlanta’s West Side, Whitfield attended Benjamin E. Mays High School and later Georgia Southern University‑Armstrong Campus, where he began honing his observational and black‑comedy style.
