Damaris Lewis, born on October 10, 1990 in Brooklyn, New York, is an American model, actress, dancer, and television personality who has built a multifaceted career across fashion, film, and live performance. Raised by West Indian parents from St. Kitts, she honed her artistic sensibilities at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School, where a conservatory‑style dance program sparked her love for movement. Discovered while performing with the Restoration Dance Theater at Chelsea Piers, Lewis signed with Elite Model Management during her second year of high school and quickly rose to prominence, landing three consecutive Sports Illustrated Swimsuit features from 2009 to 2011.
