Dalmar Abuzeid

Dalmar Abuzeid, born on October 23, 1990 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, is a versatile Canadian actor whose career launched in early childhood and has spanned over two decades, earning him a reputation as one of the most adaptable talents in contemporary television. He first captured national attention when he was cast as Danny Van Zandt on the long‑running teen drama Degrassi: The Next Generation, a role he inhabited from 2004 until the series concluded in 2010, delivering performances that balanced youthful rebellion with sincere vulnerability. During his Degrassi years he also co‑hosted the animated series Majority Rules! on Teletoon, demonstrating early his comfort in front of the camera beyond traditional acting. After leaving Degrassi, Abuzeid expanded his repertoire with guest appearances on acclaimed Canadian productions such as Murdoch Mysteries (2014) and the horror anthology Hemlock Grove (2015), proving his ability to navigate diverse genres from period mystery to supernatural thriller.
