Christopher Reid (born April 5, 1964) is an American rapper, actor, comedian, and television host best known for his role in the hip‑hop duo Kid ’n Play. Beyond music, Reid transitioned to television, appearing on shows like Martin and Sister, Sister, hosting contest programs such as Your Big Break and It’s Showtime at the Apollo, and later touring as a stand‑up comedian. His versatility extended to voice‑over work, notably portraying Lieutenant Alphonso Adams in the video game Spec Ops: The Line (2012), and he contributed the theme song for HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher.
