Casey Owen Neistat (born March 25, 1981) is an American YouTube personality, filmmaker, vlogger, and entrepreneur whose innovative storytelling has reshaped online video culture. Raised in Gales Ferry, Connecticut, he dropped out of high school at 17, becoming a teenage father to his son Owen with partner Robin Harris and living in a trailer park before moving to New York City, where he worked as a dishwasher and short‑order cook while nurturing his passion for film.
