Brittany Ishibashi is an American actress and emerging producer whose career spans over two decades of diverse roles across television, film, and digital media. Born on August 20, 1980, in Glendale, California, she grew up in a family steeped in entertainment; her father Gerald Ishibashi worked as a concert promoter and musician, while her mother Lisa Ishibashi pursued a singing career, and her grandmother Mary Nomura gained fame as the “songbird of Manzanar.” This artistic lineage nurtured her passion for performance, leading her to attend Jordan Elementary, Santiago Middle, and El Modena High schools before majoring in theater at UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television. While still a student, Ishibashi caught the attention of J.J. Abrams, who cast her in the television series Felicity, marking her first major break and launching a steady stream of guest and recurring roles on popular shows such as The Office, Grey’s Anatomy, Supernatural, and Political Animals where she portrayed Anne Ogami, earning critical notice.
