Aurora Perrineau

Aurora Perrineau, born September 23, 1994, is a versatile American actress and model. Boldly making her mark in both television and film, she is best known for a variety of notable roles spanning her career. Perrineau gained recognition for her performance as Shana Elmsford in Jem and the Holograms (2015), a live-action film adaptation of the iconic 1980s animated series. She further solidified her career with roles such as Giselle Hammond in the horror film Truth or Dare (2018) from production company Blumhouse, Tanya in the critically acclaimed Netflix's mini-series When They See Us (2019), and more recently, as C in HBO's popular series Westworld (2022). In addition, she has been successful in her modeling career, being signed to the renowned Click Model Management, Inc. Bi-racial by birth, her career has not been without controversy and hardship, notably in 2012 when she was the target of backlash for 'not being black enough' for her role in Jem and the Holograms.
