Archie Renaux

**Archie James Beale**, known professionally as **Archie Renaux**, is an English actor who has been in the acting business since 2016. He was first introduced to the audience through television roles in the BBC One miniseries Gold Digger (2019) and the Netflix series Shadow and Bone (2021–2023). He also featured in several films such as Upgraded and Alien: Romulus, both expected to release in 2024. Renaux hails from Tolworth in Kingston upon Thames and his maternal bloodline carries an Anglo-Indian descent. A man of skills and the drive to explore, he left his 9–5 job as an air conditioning engineer to pursue his passion for acting. Beyond acting, Renaux has also made a mark in modelling, leveraging his charming persona and gracing the ramp for brands like Topman, Nasir Mazhar, Moss Bros, and Men's Fashion Week. His acting career kick-started after he was cast in the dystopian film Zero in 2017. Archie's versatility stretches to a guest role in the Amazon Prime series Hanna and main roles in Gold Digger. His characters Alex in Voyagers and Bobby in Marvel's Morbius gained him critical acclaim. In 2021, Renaux's career spiked after his character Malyen 'Mal' Oretsev in Netflix series Shadow and Bone was admired by audience globally. Post this success, Renaux worked in the Amazon Prime medieval comedy film Catherine Called Birdy and Apple TV+ biographical film The Greatest Beer Run Ever. Scheduled to be released in 2023 and 2024, he has also completed work on The Other Zoey, Upgraded, and Alien: Romulus. In his personal life, Archie is engaged to Annie O’Hara and they are proud parents of a daughter born in October 2020. He announced their engagement in August 2024.
